Description:
Anodized Aluminum Tubing: customized in length up to 5ft (additional length can be made available upon request at additional cost). All tubing have wooden dowel inserts at the ends for added weight and to secure the Kevlar wicks.
Note: 3/4" tubing can be ordered on request but please allow for additional shipping time. To order 3/4" staff please write that in the notes section after clicking "Checkout"

K2 Kevlar Wick: A standard Fire Contact Staff will have 2 wicks on each end. Each wick will consist of 24" of K2 Kevlar Wick 2" x 1/8". Hand-sewn wicks are available for added durability and protection from metal burns from the hardware. When fueled completely, this design creates the capacity for a longer and brighter burn! Single or triple wicked staves can be made available upon request.
Note: Wicks will deteriorate faster if they are dropped on rough surfaces. It is recommended to always practice with wick covers to ensure a longer lifetime for your wicks.

Grip: This thin but super tacky overgrip reduces slipperiness during contact flow and optimizes a comfortable, smooth roll across the body. The center point is covered with silicone tape for added traction at the most important point and visual contrast for the user. Standard grip comes in black but can also come in neon colors (tennis ball yellow/green, orange, and pink).
Note:Specify what color neon grip in the notes section after clicking "checkout"
Note: Although overgrip has a supreme feel for contact, no overgrip will last a lifetime and will eventually need to be replaced.

Silicone Protection: Burns from contact staff are most common from metal branding from heated metal close to the wick. The Fire Contact Staff comes with silicone tape around the metal close to the wicks to prevent from metal burns. This tape is resistant to heat up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
